Collaboration with SoC Labs

Hi,

The number of institutions signing up to SoC Labs continues to grow but we are also keen to make sure we connect with each of them and to try and establish some collaboration. Your last comment was. 'Lets see how my journey goes'. So how is it going and also what can we do to help your journey?

Welcome to SoC Labs

Hi,

I see you have an interest in AI hardware, computer architecture, hardware security. You might find some interesting information in the interests item on Machin Learning. There are a number of projects within SoC Labs looking at custom acceleration for AI from the simple nanoSoC based systems to full A class systems such as

Rami Hariri's project has looked into some interesting issues around activation functions and the generation of RTL for these using High Leve Synthesis.

It would great to now what you are interested in and how we can work together.

We look forward to hearing from you.

An update on SoC Labs

Stan,

Nearly a year has gone by! We had a new person join SoC Labs from Virginia, Yimin Gao. Is he connected to you?

It has been a busy time at SoC Labs. We have just got back from hosting a half day workshop at the DATE conference in Lyon. We had presentations of SoC Labs and a number of projects from the community. The cohort from last year’s contest had a range of designs, some focused on the AI/ML inference and some on analog mixed signal aspects.

We have announced a design contest specifically for Canada and the Americas. I don't know if this would be of interest to you?

The number of institutions signing up to SoC Labs continues to grow but we are also keen to make sure we connect with each of them and to try and establish some collaboration.

I look forward to hearing from you.

John.
